Absolute Rest was born from a mutual frustration shared by its founders: Dr. Andy Galpin, a world-renowned human performance scientist working with high-level executives and professional athletes, found that even with an unlimited budget there were limited ways to determine how the quality of their sleep was. Simultaneously, Josh Ruben, a neurotechnology entrepreneur developing diagnostic systems for NASA & the D.O.D., observed that astronauts & tier 1 operators were running into the same challenge.
At Absolute Rest, we are singularly focused on one thing — improving people's sleep. We believe that sleep is not a passive state, but an active, highly complex physiological process. Our mission is to move sleep health away from “one-size-fits-all” sleep hygiene advice and figure out the root cause of your sleep disorders, then address that.

Comprehensive testing & assessments
We ship you a diagnostic sleep kit with everything needed to complete the testing, and create a Slack channel with our operations team so you have a point of contact and easy communication.
Weeks 1–2
Phase02
Expert analysis & case conference
Once we have collected all the data, our expert team of sleep scientists and clinicians analyzes it. During a detailed case conference, we meticulously review each piece of information to uncover every possible insight.
Weeks 3–4
Phase03
90-day concierge coaching
We use the SleepImage ring to continuously monitor your data over a 90-day optimization period. Our team actively tracks your progress, ensuring every recommendation is effective.
